We are delighted to announce that Theresa Schoetz recently passed her viva with no corrections. Well done indeed!
Theresa's ICON project was entitled "Preparation and characterisation of a rechargeable battery based on a conductive polymer and aluminum in an ionic liquid" with the aim of gaining a detailed understanding of the complex mechanisms of the half-cell reactions and the improvement of the battery performance in order to compete as sustainable alternative for high performance batteries.
Theresa will be continuing her research in this are as today she takes up her new role as Senior Research Fellow within the Electronic Materials and Devices Group, Zepler Institute for Photonics and Nanoelectronics, at the University of Southampton.
